A Prospective Student do not require a High School Diploma, or a General Education Development (GED) Diploma for admission. However, student must pass a graded entrance examination on our website to be eligible for admission. In addition, student must pass a Washington State Patrol Background Check to be eligible for admission at Med Smart Academy. Student who do not have a Social Security Number can apply to enter the training program. Upon successful completion of the training, the school will work with Department of Health to issue Examination Number to the student to enable them to take the State Licensure Examination. Once the student receive their Social Security Number, they can contact the Department of Health to update their license information with their new Social Security Number.
